Success for Gill at Transplant Games

Last weekend I took part in the swimming at the British Transplant Games in Liverpool.  The games are open to people , children and adults, who have had a life saving transplant. 
It is a national event that takes place every year. 
I swam :
50m breaststroke - gold
100m breaststroke - gold
50m free - silver
100m free - silver
200m free - silver
I am hoping that I will be selected to swim in the world transplant games in Spain next year.

Success at Nationals for Crawley Swimmers

Valerie takes Masters Open Water Title

The National masters championships took place at Rother Valley Park, Sheffield, on Saturday 23rd July over a distance of 3000m NO wetsuit allowed,  not even if the water is freezing, (FINA Rules ).
I won my age group 65-69 years, so making me national champion. The medal was presented to me by the Vice President of the ASA
The conditions were perfect even the water had warmed to 22.6 degrees
